I really enjoy Where I Long To Be, the trip reports are always thoughtful and informative. The episodes featuring Renée (MagicalTravelsByMonty) are especially engaging. She shares helpful insights from her own experiences and offers practical tips that Disney fans can appreciate. Her perspective adds a nice balance to the conversation. This is my second FIVE STAR review for Where I Long To Be podcast, but Virginia's stand-alone planning episode earns it! This episode is SO well put together, and I would recommend it to anyone planning their first WDW trip. Her step-by-step approach to planning is easily consumable and VERY helpful. I love her collaboration with travel adviser guests, as their tips help repeat visitors, too. For anyone new to Where I Long To Be, start with this episode, and then enjoy all the trip reports to gain further insight in to the magic of WDW! Well done!!

What Disney Blues?
Thank you Virginia! Your podcast is the perfect remedy for the Disney blues. The pre and post trip reports give great insight into the intricacies of trip planning for all sorts of adventures (solo trips, celebrations, family trips, adult trips, and RunDisney too!) I'm no runner, but have taken this podcast with me as a walking companion for many, many, many miles. Trip reports are my favorite form of Disney podcasting, and this one never disappoints.

Always a great listen! Virginia is an excellent host asking most engaging questions and gently offering suggestions when appropriate. She choose interesting guests and her format of pre and post trip episodes is a wonderful way to help the listener get a real feel for how the guests executed their plans. I also love her own trip reports usually having her son as a guest. Overall, my favorite, consistently great Disney trip report podcast!!

My Favorite trip report podcast!
This is my favorite trip report podcast. Virginia does an exceptional job interviewing guests, keeping the conversation engaging while keeping specific, relevant details in tact. Some trip report podcasts move too quickly through the trip or the opposite getting too far in the weeds with less important details. Virginia keeps a good pace with guests and encourages exceptional story telling. She has a real talent for interviewing and bring the best out in people. Do not pass up this podcast!!

Where I Long To Be truly is the most magical trip report podcast out there! Virginia does an amazing job interviewing her guests, and I love hearing their plans and then what ACTUALLY happens. I have gotten so many suggestions and tips to use on my own trips, so this is an invaluable tool to learn more about visiting the Parks as well as a great way to ward off the Disney Blues. Whether you’re a proud Disney Adult or a Disney newbie, this podcast is for YOU!

Wow! What a thrill. Another great Disney trip report show! I just discovered it yesterday and have already listened to three episodes. I especially like the way Virginia interviews pre and post trip. Reminds me of Shannon on WDW Prep to go but without all the “extra” podcasts I’m really usually not interested in. Virginia has a relaxed easy style and does not talk about her own experiences more than necessary as other hosts do. Really great content, great interviews and LOVE hearing about folks individual experiences. I’m grateful to the guests who do the work to keep track of their trips. Love the good long podcasts and really cannot find anything about it I haven’t enjoyed! Give it a listen.

I have been listening to this podcast for a while and I have to say I can’t stop listening!!! Virginia is an amazing, and talented host and will always keep me interested in the podcast. She is an amazing person and knows how to plan things out. If I had to give one word for this podcast it would be incredible! This podcast definitely does not disappoint my expectations and I can’t wait to see this podcast grow and thrive.

Where I Long to Be has quickly become my go to podcast to scratch my missing Disney parks itch. There is truly something so satisfying in listening to the plans of other Disney parks lovers and hearing how there trips actually turned out. It rarely matches perfectly, but that’s part of the fun… dare I say magic 🪄 Virginia is both a lovely host and an absolute Disney parks expert, frequently gifting us with tips, tricks and recommendations to make Disney trip even more magical.
